This Privacy Policy explains how V3RSION Inc. (“V3RSION,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the personal information you share with us through v3rsion.com - including our contact form, newsletter, and ROI Calculator.

This Policy applies to website visitors and prospective clients. It does not govern data processed during active client engagements, which is addressed in our client agreements and Statements of Work.

V3RSION is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the privacy laws of British Columbia. We collect only what we need, use it only for the purposes stated here, and never sell it.

We collect personal information through three specific points on v3rsion.com. Here is exactly what each one captures:

ROI Calculator

When you use the V3RSION ROI Calculator, we collect the business inputs you enter - which may include revenue figures, team size, or other organizational data. This information is:

• -Used to generate your results and, if you choose to receive them by email, to send those results to the address you provide.
• -Used in aggregate and anonymized form to improve calculator accuracy over time.
• -Never shared with third parties in a form that identifies you or your organization.

Automatically Collected Data

When you visit v3rsion.com, we automatically collect certain technical data including your approximate geographic location (country/city), browser type, device type, pages visited, and session duration. This data is collected via Google Analytics and is described in full in Section 05.

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes only:

Cookies We Use

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and visitor behaviour. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location (country/city), browser type, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you individually.

We have enabled IP anonymization in our Google Analytics configuration, which means your full IP address is never stored or transmitted to Google's servers. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out entirely using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies without affecting your ability to use the site. Note that disabling functional cookies may prevent the ROI Calculator from retaining your inputs during a session.

We plan to add a cookie consent banner to v3rsion.com. When live, you will be able to manage preferences directly on the site. In the meantime, browser-level controls are the primary means of opting out of non-essential cookies.

Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law, we process your personal information on the following grounds:

• -Consent: Newsletter subscriptions and non-essential cookies are based on your explicit opt-in. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 11).
• -Contractual Necessity: Processing required to respond to your inquiry or deliver services you have requested, such as ROI Calculator results.
• -Legitimate Interests: Website analytics and ongoing site improvement, where our interest in understanding how our site performs does not override your privacy rights.

• -Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of V3RSION, personal information may transfer to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy commitments in this Policy.

V3RSION is based in British Columbia, Canada. Some of our service providers - including Google - operate servers in the United States and other jurisdictions. When your data is processed outside Canada, we ensure that appropriate contractual safeguards are in place, consistent with PIPEDA requirements.

For Google Analytics specifically, IP anonymization is enabled so that no full IP address is transmitted to Google's servers.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

• -Contact Form Submissions: Retained for up to two (2) years, or until a prospective engagement either begins (at which point data is governed by our client agreement) or is no longer being pursued.
• -Newsletter Subscriptions: Retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a suppression record to honour opt-outs as required by CASL.
• -ROI Calculator Inputs: Session data is not stored beyond your active session unless you provide an email to receive results, in which case it is retained for up to 90 days.
• -Google Analytics Data: Aggregated website usage data is retained for 14 months within Google Analytics, per our configuration settings.

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Under PIPEDA and Canadian privacy law, you have the following rights. Contact us using the details in Section 12 to exercise any of them - we will respond within 30 days.

• →Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• →Right to Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• →Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies) at any time, without affecting prior processing.
• →Right to Object: Object to processing for direct marketing or purposes based on legitimate interests.
• →Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal information where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it.
• →Right to Complain: Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.

V3RSION sends marketing communications only to people who have explicitly opted in. We comply fully with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

• -Unsubscribe: Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Use it at any time to stop receiving communications immediately.
• -Email Request: Contact us at the address in Section 12 and we will remove you from all marketing lists within 10 business days.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional communications, such as a direct reply to a contact form submission.
